Apologies for stealing someone elses write up. This is a beautiful book that I bought some time ago. By the time the book was printed some of the 10 authors had already been killed in action, and that is acknowledged in the book.
It has been reprinted and can be bought quite cheaply. I can't recommend reading this book enough.
I bought it entirely on spec and paid what I thought was a lot for a WWII book without a dust cover, £10, but it was worth every penny.
