This was from the same estate as the Diamond Platinum 3 stone Dimond ring I have listed. This is a RARE Buff Cut Kunzite filigree 14k ring that I fell in love with in Florida! The seller said it was from a old estate..the Buff Cut Kunzite is a sharp Pink tone and it looks like when worn that it is electric...or a lot of fire :) the ring is only hallmarked 14k. This is a ring that stay in my vault and not in sunlight....Love it!!! the Kunzite measures 14mm x 10 mm stunning!!

Very beautiful - but why keep such a beauty hidden from the light that makes it sparkle - get it out of the vault and wear it!! Life is short!
antiquarius123, that sounds great!!! I was told that sunlight and fluorescent lighting changes the hue of the Kunzite permanently and they loose there colour to an almost whitish colour...only the new Kunzites that are heat treated can be out all day and night....and as the saying goes...Kunzites are like Vampires and fairies..only out at night :))
What a sad thing - that the color is lost in the daylight! I think I will not ever bother with kunzites!

inky, you are wonderful for saying that...it was strange that until I went to that pawn shop in Florida were I new the owner...I would sit for hours and learn about gemstones from Jim. And when I fell in love with the Antique Platinum Diamond Deco Ring I have listed which was a dream ring for me...I asked him did he have anymore from the same estate. Then he showed me this ring and said this was the only other piece...they were a very old wealthy family from Europe and have lived in Florida for the last 50 years....and selling what they do not wear...and learned about Kunzites...never knew about them until I saw this ring :)))
