Yesterday we visited one of the two big annual antiques fairs in Madrid, and I saw a simmilar lamp to this in one of the stands, only in an ugly reddish brown. So I decided mine looks nicer and should share it with you ;) Carlos didn't even know I had it (so far it is in my flats's " junk room" alhough I know it should be better displayed and used) and did love it when I showed it to him.
It's a very simple lamp, of the kind we call "flexo" in Spain ("gooseneck lamp" in English), due to its flexible neck and the most extraordinary thing about it is the screen with the shape of a lightbulb in relieve... I find it so absolutely modern! it really reminds me of the philisophy of Harri Koskinen's masterpiece lamp "Block" which was designed... three decades later.

On the base of the lamp there's the brand (I will tell you all which one is it once I've gone home and check it out) and the classical "Made in Spain".
It is very cool! Pullit out, dust it off and use it!
I promise I will, but it has got a huge competitor already at the desk... I am taking its picture tomorrow and post it so you can decide which one deserves the "desk position" ;)
Have a very nice Sunday!!!
Thanks for lookining and loving fortaache and ho2cultcha!!!
