    This is an interesting pair of 1880s tintypes, both posed in front of the same prop fence.

    I do not have any provenance on the images nor do I know the connection between the subjects in the photos.

    The prop fence initially attracted me to the images, although my focus has since shifted to the man and the woman on the left image.

    Close ups of the object in his hands is shown in another posting.
