This vase is 8" tall and has an attractive design, which I believe to be hand painted, all the way around. The vase is in good shape overall, but some of the gilding which was applied along the top rim seems to have rubbed off in some places.

The painting and finish on the outside is matte, but the inside is finished with a high gloss glaze, I assume to make the vase waterproof. The only marks on the bottom are raised up from foming in the mold, "1620" and the Roman Numeral III - and yes, I know the vase is not from 1620 or from the year 3 :). Interestingly, the bottom is covered with a high gloss glaze as well.
