    Can anyone help with identifying this vase? It measures 8 1/2" tall and 4" at the base. There are markings, initials and numbers ( 3729.III ) on the bottom. Thank You

      It is beautiful!. I'm guessing German. What are the initials? MO?

      Or lower case "ah" around the other way with a line below the "a"

      Thanks for comment. I'm thinking "MD or MO". Theres also a #44 underglaze.

      This is second piece that I have seen today with III mark. Both remind me almost of weller but don't know if they ever used III. I know some are marked with numbers that look like yours. This reminds me of a louwelsa and the other looks like a green matte they used. Probably a coincidence. Don't think I've ever seen louwelsa with lighter inside glaze.
