This transistor radio is a design from around 1970. It is a "Made in Spain". Japanese design (as it says in one of the sides of it: "Manufactured by Kosmos S.A. Las Franqesas - Spain".

I found it at a Barcelona shop specialized in vintage technology (they had some amazing old computers and other old stuff) and totally felt in love with it.

It has no buttons at all. It has the two sliders for volume and tuning and no switch on/off button... it works as you open it, and is switched off by just closing it.

The colour has changed with the years and one of the cream coloured parts looks pretty yellow now.

By the way, I've just done somthing I should have done before writing about something, and that's goggle-ing the item... so I've just dome and yes, the radio was made in 1970 and every white/cream coloured radio I have seen comes in the two tones cream and creamy-yellow so... I guess that was a factory decission :) I am happy i did this search, even if i did it late
