S.R. and CO. La. Belle luggage line

I was looking for a trunk to use in my living room for decoration. I found this old looking trunk at a Goodwill for only $9.00. It's a bit rusted, missing a few things which to me gives it character. It still has the inside tray and has been through a lot of wear and tear. It will look great in my living room theme vintage/industrial look. I am interested about some history on it if I can find when it was made. The company says S.R. and co La Belle luggage line. I can not find any information on this at all. It also has a number 39 stamped on the bottom. Can anyone please provide me on information on the value and date it might of been made? Thanks
