My first lighter I have ever gotten. It was a gift from my friend. It is not engraved and is in impeccable condition. I think this is the item that got me into antiques and art deco. It also has original box and bag.

I've got a stupid question, how does a person date these? I've got one similar and the box and bag are the same, did they every change box styles? Also have a flint card that's very thick and made of cardboard that resemblies these lighters. Any info would be appreciated!!

@kerry10456 i would have to see the picture of your lighter but you have 500 posts and i dont feel like going through them all. laugh out loud. I would guess its around 1935-40 though.
