I have started collecting wall pockets and wanted to show a fake Roseville to you. I knew it was a repro when I bought it for 5 bucks but wanted it for collection as a reminder that they are out there. It is marked Roseville.

That's the problem with these. Roseville has a feel to it that is hard to explain and the quality of the painting is bad. Signed Roseville, not Roseville USA. I don't have a single piece of Roseville that is signed just Roseville. Some are not marked at all but I have never seen one that does not have USA. Not to say they are not out there but I've never seen one.

Off to have hand surgery today, joint replacement, so will be in a cast up to my elbow for a month, and probably wont be able to drive. No thrifting for a month, I don't think I will survive> at least i can still visit CW and see everyone else's treasures!
Good Morning Amber. I researched this one before auction I am by all means no expert. Just didn't look right while I was checking photo listing at auction and did find identical one on line. The auctioneer also announced it was questionable. I had to give him credit for that a lot of them would have went for profit. It's a shame they are out there, roseville doesn't come cheap and there are people that have been duped.
Good luck to you Mary. All I can say us keep it elevated after surgery, it helps some. It is a Royal Haeger. Haven't dated it yet.
