Silver and amethyst earrings

Maybe I'm getting out of jewelry 'stock' because now I'm posting my everyday earrings!
I really wear those a lot.
In the morning I just dont have time to think about which type of jewelry matches my outfit of the day ;-)
So on sundays I just pick out a pair of earrings I can wear with everything and then I continue wearing them for days or even weeks!
They have to be comfortable and nice enough and I dont want to think about loosing them so they have to be secure.
These are sterling silver and facetted amethyst. They are stamped 925. I have no idea if they are old, because I know they remake this type of jewelry but looking at their lever back closures I think they date from the thirties.
