    This was inherited cut glass, used on a regular basis since the '50s. Can anyone identify the pattern?

      this isn't cut glass. It is Fostoria Glass #2056 American, c.1915-1982. The pattern is usually referred to as Fostoria American. You have to be careful when seeking this pattern however, as several companies did produce very close resemblances of the cube design and it is often hard to discern the differences. Some pieces of the American line are still be reproduced.
