    I found this covered vase today , It is really beautiful
    It has an iron red 4 character mark, but do not know what it means, , if anyone knows please comment

      I'm not sure but it's very similar to the one on a vase I have that's been in my family for over 3 generations. I've always been told it's a Ming vase but I can't get anybody to confirm that.

      this is an extremely strange combination of seldom used mark

      the chinese reads Cai Hua Tang Zhi --aka---Hall a-Hallof Brilliant Splendour and they used it for top knotch late qianlong pieces and early Jiaging pieces
      but the naughty boys faked it and it apparantely in the PROC period 1960 on
