Eickholt Studio, Blue Quilt Glass Vase

A studio glass piece from Eickholt out of Columbus, Ohio. I believe they are still making this pattern. The design runs from a dark blue at the top toward the lighter blue at the bottom. The vase has an amorphous shape, kind of caving in along the sides, but in a uniform way on both the front and the back. (I couldn't get the shape to show clearly, but you can see how the pattern kind of breaks on the full side shot). It's very heavy for its size and looks beautiful in all kinds of light.
