Again, these have only just recently been given to my by my mum. These belonged to her dad, Arthur "Barney" Palmer, who served in WWII in the Australian 9th division - 2/3rd anti tank regiment. He was killed in the second battle at El- Alamein on 29/10/42.
He sent these items (along with other things) back to my nan during his time there. I have been told these were his drink bottles/flasks.
They are both glass with metal "cup like holders". One has a stamp on the bottom and a makers stamp on the front.
