    My grandfather - Arthur " Barney" Palmer.
    2/3rd Anti tank regiment (Australia).
    Served in WWII - North Africa
    Died 29/10/42 at the second battle at El-Alamein (aged 25 years)

      I think it was taken in Cairo - it has an inscription written on it (cant be seen in this photo.) I have lots of photos taken by by grandfather that he sent back to his wife (my nan.) They are all quite small ...I guess its indicative of the type of camera and film he was using.
