hi, just wanted to see if anyone could gimmie a little info on this ? age , name ,value..ect? ive heard its called old man winter or old man of the north? and thats bout it/ ive looked all over and havent found much about t? found a couple that are similar but thats about it. so lemme know what ya think k ,, thanks...brock
It looks like a leather seat Old man of the North refers to the head on the back of the chair. Not being able to see it I would put it early to mid 1800's 35-60. Great old finish. To bad the seat is damaged. I can tell you it would cost a pretty penny to replace the seat If you had some one retool you a new one you're looking at around $200+ for real good job stained and cut to set back in the seat.
Thanks James , yeah im not too worried about replacing the leather , it still has the straps under it , plus for me i like it this way . gives it a lil somethin? ya know? thanks again...B
