Hello Friends,
I bought this today,......it was so good to be out on this glorious day after a week of very little time to shop.
I only picked up a couple of things, this, a print, and an interesting metal and plastic brooch which looks Mexican, ( I may post the other 2 pieces as well ).
This is a lovely thing. I've no idea of it's age, and it's unmarked, but my guess is that it's Japanese. All of the hand painted detail is just beautiful, and the color,.....beautiful!
The white roses are on each side, separating them are raised panels accented with gold.
Hopefully someone will be able to tell me something more about it.
