I was lucky enough to purchase this Dinner Service from a local auction recently. It is a 1950's Stavangerflint service designed by Inger Waage, the pattern is called Bambus. It consists of 6 large plates, 6 medium plates, 6 small plates, two tureens, one large fish plate, gravy boat with drip plate. It is in fabulous condition, but some do have some minor crazing in the glaze, not bad for the age of this service at all. I do not think it has had much use, just been stored away would be my guess. I am fairy certain that a service as undamaged and as complete as this would be very hard to come by now. Hope you like it!
Thank you nldionne, that was a very quick 'Love'!!! I have only just posted - you may be my only one!! Will have to wait and see!! Many thanks!:)

Hi Bellin, have just taken a look - great set, hope you are using it!! This category is new to me, I used it for the first time to post my Stavangaflint service so have not really look around it! I bought this last week at the house clearance auction for a very low price considering its age and pedigree!! Thanks you for the Love!!
Bellin - how are you liking your new place? Better than the old??:)
This set is beautiful! Great find! I think Scandinavian designs always have such a great, distinct look. I am green with envy!:)
Thank you cindyjune, I agree, there is something about the Scandinavian designs, still fresh and appealing after all of these years!! Sorry you are green with envy - you never know, one just might turn up!!!:)
Thank you Bellin!!
