I purchased this piece of stained glass about 20 years ago at an auction. I thought it would look great sitting on the easel in the dining room. Me and a friend purchased two of these one day at a sale. They were both identical except his had one little piece of glass missing. We were told that this was the only thing between inside and outside of the bank, don't know if I believe that but the story really sounded good as the auctioneer started the bidding. I'm sure there had to be some bars on those windows in the bank, but hey everything you buy has some sort of story behind it. That was his story and he was sticking to it.

I just saw a couple of these installed at the Spaghetti Warehouse in Oklahoma City. I wonder how many First National Banks there were and how many of these were made. Maybe they had repros of your piece!
    28. officialfuel officialfuel, 13 years ago
Thanks for stopping by lisa. I guarantee this is not a repro!

These are the upper panels for an O. B. McClintock two sided outside bank clock. These are from around 1915-30, hard to tell without the actual clock or it's history.
I have a couple of these clocks, one is restored and mounted on our house. Chimes on the qtr. hour on large brass tubular bells mounted inside the case .
