not sure if this is the original lampshade, but i got this little lamp yesterday for $4. :) i feel so lucky to have found it at a local thrift shop.
i'm searching the internet to find something similar because it has no markings... i'm trying to find out its maker and age.
notice that the beaded edge tray base is a bit translucent, whereas the hobnail body is opaque. This is most likely a dime store product from the 1960s-70s. Different companies bought the glass from various makers and assembled the components for resale. Try a Google image search for: "milk glass" hobnail swirl lamp. Scrolling thru the results you will see this combination of hobnail & swirl used in a number of different assembled lamps.
