I'm looking for help in identifying this mark on this shell dish...I've researched in a lot of the silver websites and cannot find it. So I'm hoping someone here can help me? It feels like sterling but I just don't know for sure. It measures 6 inches by 4 inches.
    Thanks in advance :) :)

I don't recognize the mark, sorry, but the metal looks like pewter to me.

      Hi MawamaMama,
Thanks for your quick response :) It is for sure NOT pewter. It's not that heavy. But, it's driving me nuts trying to find this mark and what it means ;(

      Hi Silverunderwater:

I wonder if the PLTD stands for plated. That may lead you to a county first, then a company that made it.

      Thanks for sharing,
