This Jeff Arnold pocket watch, manufactured in 1953 by Ingersoll was commissioned by Eagle Comic Publications. This watch with 'Jeff Arnold' written in red (nicknamed Red Label) was met with disapproval from Eagle because the word Ingersoll was more prominent. The dial of the watch therefore was revised with the word Ingersoll removed and 'Jeff Arnold' written larger in black (nicknamed Black Label).
