Finally showed up after bouncing around OKC for three days in the mail. Local rock shop gemstone tester puts the stone at 6.5 to 7 mohs hardness but not cold enough to be a nephrite; more agate or quartz. At first thought glass because it lacks the coldness of jade, but gemstone tester says hard stone. Has wood base glued on, and that sits on little stand, cut to fit. Strange little snuff bottle; thinking tiger eye cap and spoon needed. Pretty translucent stone. Might be what is called yellow jade but thinking old agate or quartz carving.
