Lindefors glassworks (renamed Strömbergshyttan after 1933).
Designed and made by Knut Bergqvist 1930.
    Height: 300 mm (11 7/8")
Clear dark green colored glass. Cup optic blown, and the mouth edge cutted. This model was produced in at least two sizes and two colors. 300 and 205 mm (8"), a green and a brown-yellow color. I have another glass of the same model, 205mm and in the brown-yellow nuance, but it's a little damaged, therfore I show only this green and taller one.

In 1928, Axel Träff started up Lindefors glassworks together with Knut Bergqvist and Eugen Bergqvist, after the factory had been closed down some years (Lindefors was built in 1876). They produced glass for cutting/grinding att "Mjölby Kristallsliperi", owned by Träff. But they also started to cut/grind glass in Lindefors. Four skilled cutters/grinders from Kosta was hired for that work (father and brothers Abrahamsson). Knut Bergqvist combined design and working in the production. Some drawings and sketches are preserved from Bergqvists time as a designer for Lindefors 1928-31. In 1932 they must stop the production at Lindefors, according to the global economic crisis as a result of the stock market crash in New York and other towns over the World. In Eda the glassworks also must close down, and from there came Edward and Gerda Strömberg to lease Lindefors in 1933. They started up the production again and renamed the glassworks to "Strömbergshyttan". Later, the Strömberg family also bought the factory.
