Here is another unusual/rare murano piece.A handblown confetti and cane glass elephant vase. Also has a bit of latticino running thru it as you can see in the close up on photo 2 .The top has an opening for flowers and a hole in the mouth to drain water out. Beautifully done, Fantastic color ,great applied eyes ears tail and legs and a broken unpolished pontil mark on base. Age wear to feet.He measures at 8" long x 7" tall. The older couple that I purchased this from, I have purchased other early signed murano pieces from in the past. Her parents used to travel across Italy in the 50's 60's and 70's.
This one she believed to be a Salviati piece around the 60's, I'm wondering if it could possibly be Barovier & Toso , Any help or input would be appreciated.

DEFINITELY not Salviati, and I don't think Barovier & Toso, its not characteristic of either

No problem! That's a very COOL elephant. I saw a kinda similar pink elephant a few days ago with a metal rack. The metal rack held little glass drink markers. Thank you for posting! : )

Hi - I thought these were candlesticks, as I picked up a pair about years ago. Wonder whether anyone has found additional info in the past few years.
