It has taken us about twenty years to collect all of the pieces for our backyard playground. My daughter enjoyed them growing up and our friends kids and grandkids as well. Each piece came from some place different. We've loved having them in our yard. People stop to ask us about them all the time. It's sad but now it's time to let others enjoy them. As we have decided to let go of the whole playground this summer and are going to plant some palm trees in it's place.
The Monkey bars with the rings were always my favorite.

I remember these very well the fun that was had on them cannot be put into words. They have been barred in Australia years ago through to many of us hanging onto the bars & hanging off the sides. Sometimes you would fall off & go under then the damage was done. Now they are much lower & nowhere near as much fun.
Memories of my childhood when I see those. The fun we had on that "dangerous" playground equipment. That's what made us tough a little bruise here and there.
