This is a fairly beat up but still beautiful Bellova shade, but I was wondering if anyone knows what kind of fixture it would go with -- lamp, sconce, desk lamp, etc. It is about 5.5" tall and 7 " at the widest point. It is flat on the back with a 2.5" x 3" cutout where the maker's mark is, giving the bell a semicircular shape. It is mounted on a Bellova boudoir lamp just for the photo. It fits on this lamp, but not very well. Thanks for any insights, Chris

It looks like it was meant for a wall light ???

Moonstone lover, thank you for the welcome.

Ozmarty, thank you for your comment. I do think it could be for a wall sconce. In that case, it would probably be inverted from how the pictures above are oriented. The fixture would also probably have a smallish socket holder jutting out from the wall as well as a piece jutting out into the recessed portion of the back of the shade. I just have never seen a fixture with just this kind of arrangement and it is hard to imagine something when all you have is empty space to fill in...

Just a wild guess but perhaps a headboard light?

Hi....your shade is DEFINITELY from a wall sconce. It fit into a bronze plated base metal fixture that mounted to the wall. Please contact me though my website bellova.com or you can write to me directly via email at emeralite@aol.com and we can chat some more about the shade or any other Emeralite or Bellova lamp or fixtrue. Thanks, Bruce Bleier, bellova.com.
