    Updated on October 3rd, 2013:

The designer of this is vase is Algimantas Žilys, a Lithuanian glass artist. You find all informations onhim on my new post of a blue vase of his:

    =====================

    Original post from june 2013:

Normally I hesitate to buy glass of unknown descent. But this one seduced me, like this one

    http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/86228-little-bowl-possibly-by-pallm-knig?in=cobaltcobold

    and this one

    http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/86018-little-bowl-possibly-of-the-holmegaard-c?in=cobaltcobold

    (if you have any informations!)

They make me happy and sad – sad because I'd like to know more about them and their designers.

So please help me. This vase is signed. I read something like "N 15/53 – M. Klys" (see picture 4)

@Rebessin: does this say anything to you? I bought it on Tradera, so probably it's Swedish.

    It's big: 28,5 high, 14 cm large and it weighs 2144 g.

It's made of thick and clear glass with small bubbles, which - as my companion says – are like zeros, with a little black rim. In a good, not so strong light the bubbles are very brilliant. The grey spiral seems to be painted on the inside, but it seems to be additional layer of clear glass on it. It looses intensity going to the ground which gives to the vase a very elegant floating character.

I would be happy to identify it!

I know how it feels liking an item so much and not being able to identify it!!! Awful!!! But there's always the pleassure one gets from it on what it is, no matter who designed it or made it... It's a great vase!!!

Dear austro, dear Bellin, thank you and thanks for the loves. It's signed but it's still anonymous. Some day somebebody will come and say it's name.

I can't say what it is. Only that it looks like Scandinavian. Maybee I know more about glass from Strömbergshyttan and some others. But this one, I don't know anything about?

Dear rebessin, thanks for looking. Strangely there was just an auctio on Tradera with a vase which seems to be of the same designer

      http://www.tradera.com/signerad-konstglas-vas--auktion_200708_183883291

The signature seems to be the same.

Unfortunately the seller is not able to identify it either.
