This is a great occupational image that dates from about 1900- 1910. It shows the interior of a bar with a large billiard table.
There are many interesting items on the wall (one has a date of 1902 or 1907) and behind the wall including a large stuffed animal.
I don't have any idea of the location but it is very typical of what would have been found throughout the US at this time period.

Great picture Scott! Man that counter is quite a piece.
Thanks sign-- it is one heck of a bar. I wonder how many of these were lost/ destroyed over the last 100 years.
scott
Yes-- also notice all the spill spots!

Would love to find vintage brass rails like those in your picture for my basement bar. Great photo, thanks for sharing!
Glad you like it! I suspect a lot of this found its way to the scrap yards-- esp during the WW2 metal drives.
A lot of brass trench art from WW1 met a similar fate.

I noted your interest's include old photography/militaria.. I may post a few old ww2 pictures I have that include G.I.'s posing in old Japanese airplanes (mid 40's) and a jeep being driven down the steps of an old stone Japanese temple. Let me know if your interested in seeing them.
Sure-- I would like to see the photos. Give me a heads up once you have posted them.

Popped up a couple pics, let me know what you think.
