Came home today from my scrapyard job with this RCA Victor portable Radio that came in with a truckload of scraped electronics. I dont know the year of this model but its a tube radio and has to be one of the first ones to run on 115v or a Battery making it portable. The Battery space is large and has a 5 prong plug, battery #VS019. When you open the door in the first picture it turns it on, in the second picture you see the dial and the volume dial and tuner dial, inside is the original label. I dont know if it works but I hope its fixable. I think its Cool! enjoy
That is very cool, a nice find. I don't know much about electronics but I do know that you should be careful powering up tube type devices or you can have a cascading failure of many tubes if one doesn't work properly when powered up.

This radio is in such nice condition for it's age 1950+/-.

My father had one just like it he bought new in the 50's.
He said it needed new tubes so he gave it to "Goodwill" back in the early 80'.
thanks kehphones, this one actually works but there is a short somewhere that I have to find. Happy New Year!
