I don't know much about this except it was made in NJ, and is inscribed Medium M-3 US Combat tank. I've never seen one like this before. It has a metal pin back, and is 1 1/2 " x 1 1/4." Were they worn by the factory workers? If anyone has more info, please share.
    Thanks

US M-3 General Lee Tank. Almost the same as the M-3 General Grant tank, but with a slightly different turret. It was our Heavy tank of WWII. That side mounted gun is the main - a 75mm, plus it's smaller 37mm gun on the main turret. They were first produced in 1940, but design didn't work too well, and they were phased out as more M4 Sherman tanks became available.

One of my favorite tanks. Tanks of the 1930s tended to have multiple turrets and the sponson mounted main gun.
