This is a Program from The Lawrence Welk T.V. Show back in the Fifties. All Photos of Lawence Welk and Band members are Signed. I have Two of these Programs ,a couple of years apart, but what makes this one special is the Photo of Pete Fountain. He was employed in the Welk Band for only a short time at the beginning of his Career and in fact, how his Genius was discovered all over the World. Also note The Lennon Sisters and signatures. At this time, early in their career, there were four of them.

      Quote By Lawrence Welk
"There are good days and there are bad days, and this is one of them."

I remember watching his show in the late 70's, wasn't really the kind of music that I was into at the time, but we only had two channels! :-)

I can relate to that walksoftly !! When I was growing up, we had only one Channel (:-D)

We only had one for years, CBC.
We were so excited when we got the second channel!

TV in Australia didn't start 'til 1956 with three channels. We were spared Lawrence and the Band. I read about it all in Mad Magazine! ~(; )
