My mother rescued this lamp from a friend who was going to trash it in the 1960's. It has been a beloved part of the family ever since. It casts a gorgeous soft glow, and finding proper bulbs is a fun periodic task.
The only mark I can find on it is the imprint on each socket: Bryant 75W 125V
I don't know what the metal is - it appears to be painted or coated in a soft silver color that looks like lead or pewter. Underneath it appears to be darker.
If you know anything about this type of lamp, I'd love to learn more about it.
