    I have no information about these two "sisters".....except the obvious.
    They are large at about 17" tall and 8" across. Very heavy. 25lb each.
    We think they might be made of Olive wood. No marks. Out of an estate sale. Look very old. One piece has a significant crack down the middle.

      these are very, very well done! they show incredible carving skill - unlike the vast majority of these African busts.

      ho2cultcha - any idea about the age of work like these? We think they are Olive wood....does that make sense?
