1940's Plasticflex bakelite clutch handbag

I found this vintage women's clutch handbag in the hoarder estate I cleaned out this past winter. It looks like geometric bakelite shapes woven together with leather strips. I think it's from the 1940's and is in fairly good shape for it's age although a good q-tip detailing is much needed.
