About two years ago here on CW I posted a Viking corkscrew that I had bought even further back in time. It was six months ago that I saw the same face on a brush at the Salvo's in Rozelle. That store just recently closed down, by the way. Rents are getting high!
I paid a fair price for this brush.
I was pleased to see that the leather ears were still intact.
The beard is this time hog's bristle.
I have not been able to be 100% sure about its attribution but I believe it might be by Hans Bølling?
There are other names suggested: Laurids Lönborg, Kay Bojesen & Carl Bent .....
I'd appreciate any help!
Love them!!!
stunning and very very cute!!! these are very hard to figure out!!!
Many thanks to MSL, SEAN and mATTYg!

Or have you already ID'ed them? (I'm sure you have though)
Thanks for the input Stillwater. I think it's him but not 100% certain. What do you think?
Hmm well I'm not so sure now, it looks like he signed his creations, but I have the same viking with the spear and it doesn't have anything on the bottom.
The same hemp rope and fur made me think it was him though. Sorry I can't be of more help
This one is on Etsy listed as him, but he also put Bojeson's name there in the title so he may be guessing like us
