GRØN decanter, Jacob E. Bang (Kastrup, 1960)

Sean commented yesterday about my GRØN set of jugs and glasses and that made me remeber I had taken pics of the decanter from the same range, so here it is.

As most of the items in this range, it came with the option of the rattan wrapping, but in this case it hasn't got it (I would have loved it to have it, as all the other GRØN items in my collection have it.). Thew good thing is that it keeps the orignal sticker and, most important, the original stopper, made out with teak wood and cork. I had seen this same decanter for sale many times but always incomplete...

The decanter is really big! it stands 48,5cm tall (with the stopper on) and the diameter at the bsae is 12,5 cm. Quite impressive , isn't it??
