CW!rust removal tip LOOK!

I used the same process on the 1-1/2 inch tap(notice the quarter next to it!(it's a big one!)

Ok, if you want to remove rust from steel(no aluminum or pot metal!!)

step#1- make sure item is free from grease

step#2-find a plastic container with a lid

step#3-fill container with 9 parts water and 1 part FEED MOLASSES!!!(CAN BE BOUGHT VERY CHEAP AT A FEED STORE)

STEP#4 -suspend item in mixture for 1 week

step#5-after 1 week remove item,scrub with a brush,and rinse

step #6-now repeat steps 4 and 5 for another week.

STEP#7 after you rinse it off and you are happy with the rust removal,dry it well,because it will flash rust!

After 2 weeks most items are bare steel,but you can keep putting it back in a week at a time.There is little to no labor(no sandblasting YEAH!!!!!)and doesn't harm the metal.
