This beautiful blue glazed Awaji pottery vase was made between 1922-1939. I honestly haven't spent much time researching Japanese pottery, but recently have found a few that have really caught my interest.

i really love awaji pottery. some of it is still not recognized. i found a very nice one the other day on ebay for very litttle money. they didn't mention 'awaji' in the description, but it definitely is. i'll post some pics later.

I love it too, its one of those "best-kept secrets" of art pottery. I've never had a piece but its one of the things that is on my collecting bucket list. Some of the pieces are really, really neat!
