I found this at a yard sale recently, I was repulsed by it but couldn't quit looking at it either! Any ideas? it's about six inches tall...that's about all I've got!

Could it be Egyptian or Indian with it's extra arms & legs. Then there is the skulls in different intervals. The back looks like wood but the top part metal, I'm going for all back being metal though. Were the art work is has that been filled in with something then carved or carved out of whatever it is made of.
I think it may be the Hindu God Kali.
Hi Zowie, thanks for your input, it made me check out out closer and I realized there are two 'beings' kissing, she has her left leg wrapped over his right leg. I tried to clean it up a bit, you can tell now it's all wood. I will post another picture.
The Hindu god Kali is usually shown with her consort Shiva
I honestly don't know much about Hindu Gods but it's worth checking into.
Good luck
are they kissing really ?or maybe it's morning gymnastics
In the Buddhist art of , Nepal and Tibet, Yab-yum is the image of the sexual union of the male deity with his female consort.
This attitude is generally seen as an expression of the mystical unity of the active force or method (up aya, seen as masculine) and wisdom (prajna, regarded as feminine).
