Cloud's Pottery Folsum California /Hand Painted Floral Design Candlesticks / Circa 1999

Thought these 7" candlesticks from GW were really nice with their watercolor floral design and tulip shape. They are both similar and have an iris and some other types of flowers but placed differently on each piece. They were made by the Clouds Pottery Company in Folsum California. At first I thought they were someone's art project from the way they were signed. I found a lot of their pieces online and for sale on Ebay. -Mike-

Clouds is a family owned pottery in Folsom, California started in 1977 by G.F. and Penny Cloud. Our work is all high fired porcelain (cone 10 or 2380 degrees) Fired in either oxidation or reduction atmospheres. About 70% of our work is thrown on the potters wheel and about 30% is cast in our own molds to get non round pieces. G.F. and Penny Cloud, Mary Cargile, Linda Allison and Karen Adler are the ceramists. Our studio and gallery are in the gold rush town of Folsom, California.
