The date on the stamp reads 28.07.44, Sofia. The letter begins with "Liebe Maria" - Dear Maria... Love in the time of war... What was the destiny of those people? What happened with them... History is a mystery. One can write a novel about this probably...Unfortunately, I don't read German, neither strangers' letters... :)
