Sometime ago I purchased a Mickey Mouse watch that I have never seen before.
I think it was made by Overseas Products Intl, and sold through Disney Parks and Resorts as that was the paperwork that was in the box. The box bar code is 40018500122, item # 745327002787 as shown in the photos. The watch face shows Mickey’s face, and he is waving behind the clock (the clock tilted and above the clock face the crystal is see through front and back). The back shows Mickey’s full back, head, body, legs and feet overlooking the front of the clock face. I would be grateful for any help to identify this watch. This watch is new in the box and has never been worn. Fossil was founded as Overseas Products Intl I 1984.
If anyone can provide more information regarding this watch please let me know.
Hello Lou6802,
You are 100% correct on your watch, any Timepiece labeled Disney Time Works would have been a Theme Park and resort sold item, and yes it's a Fossil made for Disney. Dating this would be around the early to mid 1990's. pretty unique design and will increase in value, as time goes by. Right now it would sell for around $35-75, with all the box and papers. Twenty years down the road, it will increase in collector value(in this condition), but for now, it's a little "New" for collectable. Sorry could be more help, but you have pretty well researched and found most of the info on this peice. Thanks for sharing this and hope I helped you out a little.
