Fresh in from Germany, 1905 Series II Production Number 2812. It appears to have started out as typical Candia Silberiris, but it was given a special treatment. The fins are covered with a heavy, solid green finish, and the body has been washed with a thinned out coating of the same color to give it an ancient look. Photo 4 is from the Series II book. Dr. Lnenickova suggests Marie Kirschner as the designer, but I believe it has more of a Koloman Moser look to it. Regardless of who the designer was, this is the first I have seen in this decor, and a welcome addition to my collection.

Thank you. It arrived while I was out of town for the past week and I couldn't wait to see it when I got home today (sorry Frank, you missed your chance).

According to the Musterschnitte, only 4 of these were made. Jitka's book says just one was produced, but whichever it is, that explains why I haven't seen one before.

Koloman Moser isn't a bad thought, though if produced in 1905 he would have likely designed something under the auspices of the then popular Wiener Werkstatte, which started just two years earlier.

Wow! really nice. I just saw the Klo Moser designed pieces at the Neue Galerie NYC retrospective show. Very unusual.

It could also be PN II-4306 (or II-4305?) and decor Pergamon (?). The finish is in my opinion a little different from candia silberiris. But who knows? see my vase:

And there is PN 85/5153 for E. Bakalowits - candia silberiris patiniert - circa 1903. This PN is smaller (estimated 3 "). This could also lead to Koloman Moser. ??
