purchased some time ago..loved it & don't know anything about it!
Beautifully detailed with much gold...Japanese! The inside rim has beautiful colors & I don't know the raised marking on the underside!
6" across x 2 1/2" high I'm thinking it's old!
your help would be appreciated trying to identify this piece!
Thank you Jim! I will edit the item being Japanese! As indicated the only marking on the bottom which is a raised number or letter!
BEAUTIFUL!!!
how can this be generic, this is quite well a quality too say the least, i have seen the garlands somewere, but forgot
something like late mejji , maybe early taisho
full eyelids
faces alternating red -white - not monocolor
look at the contrast of the collar of the kimono
fade out flaring of the clouds
very nice piece you ought to be proud
waki
, it might be even better got a lunatic or an genius !!! idea gosu variety, that may be the reason for a stray , the light part of gosu blue + spiral signed,= beehive crackle
the split ( the floral ) part of the garlands could be explaining, a possible kinkozan without signing, it is farfetched, but i digged deep
i love it the spiral in the mid circle is probably also the substantion
