I love the simplicity of this 1950s vase made by Orup for Jogansfors in the 1950s. The style does remind me of the Orrefpors coloured little vases by Lundin I gave Carlos as a present (http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/86865-two-small-vases-ingeborg-lundin-orrefo?in=collection-1756) and the Sogrön vase I posted here some months ago (http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/88938-sgrn-sea-green-coloured-items-per), but this one is so much smper and soooooooooooo beautiful! It is fully signed but I cannot write it down here right now. I will as soon as I go back to my place, meaning... sometime in the middle of next week). I can also tell you it's about 20 cm tall... but must check it out and give you the right height alog with the signature.
Have a very nice week everybody!!!
stunning as always:)
I'm reminded very vaguely of Lutken's 'beak' with the lip. It's very beautiful, Austro!
I was reminded of a baby bird waiting for the Mama.
How are you Austro? Not near any trains...such an awful thing.
Yes, Amber, that was a terrible thing to hapen! Luckily no one I know was involved in that. It was quite a shock when I saw it on TV on Wednesday night.
Yes,it has a little bit of Lütken's beakvase too. It is such a 50's shape! Thanks everybody for your loves and comments!
Very beautiful, I never saw it. Orup is one of my favourites. I'll present two or three vases soon.
