This is a large rock that I brought into the yard for decoration, we placed the rock, then built the flower bed around it. The rock has a nice shelf on it were we placed a few trinkets & an old toy truck that was mostly rust.
We added a little dirt to the one end of the rock & transplanted some Sedum.
I estimate the rock to weigh around 3000 pounds.
So even though I didn't like picking rocks as a kid, I find myself looking for interesting ones to bring home. I also enjoy taking photo's of rocks, especially if they have lichens growing on them.

Hey,I want your rock!!!!!...can you ship it?
This is such a special rock (nice display shelf), I would need way more than what they pay per pound in Indiana............Oh ya can't sell on here!
I could just add extra to the shipping costs, wouldn't have to bubble wrap it either! :-)
Thanks for loving it Gargoyle :-)

You're right tom, if you can't own the mountain at least claim part of it as your own, maybe I should plant a flag on it!
