    Generally, I do not buy images from the UK, but was happy to make an exception with this unusual occupational CDV.

    The image dates from the 1860s and shows a man with a large spy glass and maps. I would assume that he is a ships captain but there are other occupational possibilities as well.

    Reproduction of these images in any form is prohibited.
