Felix Tissot- ceramic dish

This traditional Mexican design dish with a French signature had me confused when i spotted it at a garage sale today. When i looked into the signature I found out it was done by Felix Tissot a French born ceramic artist who moved to Taxco Mexico in the 50s. Well known for his contemporary modern work the Chitilan Indians influenced his designs and he created a modern spin on traditional called the "Fantasia" line. All of which are hand painted patterns signed by the artist, finish sanders, and glazier.
